BabiesMart Warranty & Returns
1. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These rights apply to every product we sell, for as long as is reasonable given the product's price and type. Nothing in this policy limits them.
2. BabiesMart 1-Year Warranty
In addition to your ACL rights, Most of Toddly and Glowly (hard goods) products come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. Eligible products show "1-Year Warranty" on their product page.
Covered: structural or material defects; parts that fail under normal use; a product that stops working as intended under normal use.
Not covered: accidental damage, misuse, incorrect assembly or excessive force; normal wear and cosmetic marks that don't affect function; water damage unless the product is described as water-resistant; products bought second-hand.
Under this warranty, we will, at our discretion, supply replacement parts, repair, or replace the product. Where a fault is a major failure under the ACL, you may choose a refund instead.
3. How to make a claim
- Email care@babiesmart.com.au with your order number, a description of the fault, and photos or a short video.
- Most claims are assessed from photos. If we need the product back, we'll tell you how — for large items (bed rails, gates, bassinets) we arrange collection; for small items we'll ask you to post it and reimburse the postage once the fault is confirmed.
- If the fault is confirmed, parts or the replacement ship at our cost. If the fault isn't covered (e.g. accidental damage), we'll explain why and quote a paid repair or parts where we can.
4. Change-of-mind returns
You can return an unused item in its original packaging within 60 days of delivery for a refund or store credit. Return shipping is at your cost; the original shipping charge isn't refunded. For hygiene reasons, [mattresses, feeding items, opened clothing, Dr Brown's, Mustela] can't be returned for change of mind. This doesn't affect your rights for faulty goods.
